Statement of Skills — FY 2024–2026

Abish R.
Analyst by training,
builder by habit.

MBA Candidate — Business Analytics · Bangalore, India

I spend my days with spreadsheets, forecasts, and vendor lists, and my evenings shipping small web tools that nobody asked for but everybody ends up using. Equal parts analytical rigor and the plain stubbornness to build things from scratch.

About

Two disciplines, one notebook.

I'm an MBA student specialising in Business Analytics, with a mathematics degree and a diploma in computer applications underneath it. Most of my formal work sits in the world of inventory coordination, vendor management, and financial reconciliation — the unglamorous parts of a business that quietly decide whether everything else works.

Outside of that, I write code the way some people write in a journal — for myself, in the open, without waiting for a brief. That habit has produced a small library of independent web projects: a prompt-sharing library, a file toolkit that runs entirely in the browser, and a blog I designed, built, and still maintain end to end.

I like problems that involve both columns — the numbers side and the build side — and I'm currently looking for analytics, MIS, or operations roles where I can put the first one to work daily.
